When FREO Frozen Yoghurt approached us, they had a prime location at 115 Bathurst Street, Sydney CBD, just near Town Hall.
As they were investing large into a premium site and with a high cost of Frozen yoghurt machines they had to make sure that they were launched correctly, with enough buzz and press around them to attract enough attention.
Their vision was clear—they were bringing something truly unique to Australia. With a top-tier hospitality interior design by INCO Studio, their store was designed to be fun, inviting, and memorable.
They also partnered with Federico Zanellato, the acclaimed chef behind LuMi Dining, Lode Pies & Pastries, and Avoja Pizzeria, to develop their high-quality recipes.Despite delays in construction, FREO officially launched late in January 2024 at the end of Summer.
CPM was tasked with setting up their marketing, running it effectively, bringing their store to life online and making sure they started with a splash in the Sydney food scene. It was vatially important to establish their brand as the plan was to open multiple sites once the brand was established.
Our team at CPM used its well-honed marketing formula that had also worked for many chain brands in our decade-long experience of growing food and hospitality brands.
CPM handled all their professional photography, videography, social media content, paid ads, Food PR and influencer marketing in an all-encompassing hospitality marketing package to ensure a strong launch.

Additionally, we brought Sydney’s top food and lifestyle influencers and CPM’s influencer community to the Froyo party. The influencer campaign generated the hype and must try sensation of the brand ensuring long queues from day one.

FREO had ambitious plans to expand, and making their flagship store a success was crucial.
Thanks to our strategic marketing approach using all angles of marketing from our Hospitality Marketing package, they became an instant cult and go-to dessert destination in Sydney.
Their launch and marketing capiagn was a massive success, proving that the right marketing strategy can put a new brand on the map and keep it thriving!
